ANIPUNK began in March 1997. At the time, the band consisted of GERU-C Kakka, MC Zingi from the band ZINGI and MC KON from the band BRAND NEW MONKEY. They were produced by Koji Ide. Best known as the bassist and otaku icon of the successful visual kei band AN CAFE, kanon has recently started his solo career as a video game producer. His first project, “Pinky☆Distortion”, is a mobile-based “visual novel” adventure game in which users play as a rookie manager of a Visual-kei band to lead them to stardom. kanon is also frequently a guest at overseas anime conventions.
