Japan’s ‘Kawaii’ Unite at the First Ever J-Idol Festival in Hong Kong

Themed around the word ‘kawaii’, Japan’s greatest idol groups are to play Kawaii Pop Fest -supported by @JAM-, their first Asian shows from 17 to 19 May at Music Zone, KITEC, Hong Kong.

Finely selected Japanese girls idol groups dempagumi.inc, Dorothy Little Happy, UP UP GIRLS KAKKOKARI, SUPER☆GiRLS and 9nine are to appear before the HK and Asian fans. Following a special free event on 16 May at Dragon Centre, there will be eight separate shows in total: three on the 17th and 18th then two on the 19th. Supported by the prestigious Japanese idol event @JAM and a specialist idol magazine Top Yell, this three dayer promises to be the most exciting, highest quality shows.

Organisers of the festival Zepp Live Entertainment and Puffin Entertainment say ‘it is the long awaited first J-idol festival in Asia, and we’re ecstatic about bringing such great line-up from the vol.1.’ This is a must come event for Japanese idol fans and pop music fans.
