MomoClo’s opening theme featured in “BISHOJO SENSHI Sailor Moon Crystal” trailer. First new anime in 17 years.

The trailer for Sailor Moon’s first new anime in 17 years, “BISHOJO SENSHI Sailor Moon Crystal”, was just revealed. A portion of Momoiro Clover Z’s theme song for the movie, “MOON PRIDE”, is featured in the trailer.

“BISHOJO SENSHI Sailor Moon Crystal” will be broadcast worldwide on Saturday, July 5 at 7:00pm Japan time on NicoNico and other outlets. Finally after 17 years, the anime series will be in “moving” pictures.

Revo (Linked Horizon / Sound Horizon), produced the opening theme song, “MOON PRIDE”. Revo also produced “GUREN NO YUMIYA”, the opening theme song to anime “SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN”. Akiko Kosaka will produce the ending theme song. Kosaka has already produced popular Sailor Moon songs such as “TSUKINIJI”, “Tuxedo Mirage, “Moon Revenge”, and “La Soldier”.
