BEGIN, First Solo Concert in Hawaii

On May 18th, BEGIN had a solo concert,＜BEGIN Yafaiian Music Concert 2014 in HAWAII＞ in Waikiki Shell of Honolulu, HI.

“Yafaiian”, a word created by mixing a Hawaiian word and a Okinawa word means “a breeze of early summer”. With that word in the performance title, BEGIN appeared on a stage surrounded by palm trees and started out with “K Nohona Pili kai”. This song was written when an Hawaian musician, Kealiʻi Reichel, heard the song “Nada Sousou” on her way back from Japan on the plane and touched her greatly,causing her to cover the song in Hawaian. When Eisho Higa (Vo) started singing the song, fans of 13000 exclaimed with surprise and awe.
