Hemenway / New Single Release on 5/23!

Hemenway finally revealed the details of their 3rd new single “Escape,” the opening theme song for “EUREKA SEVEN AO” now on-air on MBS, TBS, CBC and BS-TBS. It was the very first time that Isaac(vocal and guitar), the composer and lyricist for the title number, was designated to write a song for an anime. Understanding the storyline thoroughly, Isaac made a connection with his own story of aiming for a dream as a musician in Japan in which he portrayed it as an “escape” to the future. This sure will be a cheerful number for those who are aiming for a brand new start.
This new single is filled with “changes” that Hemenway expressed through 3 very different songs. Especially, the second track ‘Shifting’ starts off quietly and proceeds to become a completely different rock number towards the end. The third track ‘Kokoni inai kimi e’ is Hemenway’s very first acoustic ballad track to be released. Topped off with Charm’s signature instrumental version of the title song, the 4 impressive tracks of this new single will give you so much more than you can ever expect!
