Aimer Accepted to World`s Photograph Competition for 2 Years in a Row
Aimer held her customary interet Live and it was a great success. The artwork from her single released in August last year, “Anata ni Deawanakereba~NatsuYuki Fuyu Hana~ Hosikuzu Venus” was accepted (Honorable Mention) to [PX3], the largest photograph competition in Europe.
[PX3(Prix de la Photographie, Paris)] is one of the world`s most authoritative photograph competition project along with [IPA(International Photography Award)]. From Japan in the past, Yuzu`s “FURUSATO” has won a prize and Aimer has received 2nd place in the music section for her 2nd single “Re: pray/ Sabishiku te Nemurenai Yoru Wa” last year.
Though sadly she did not go past being accepted, it is a very rare case for a Japanese artist to be accepted for two years in a row. Aimer will also be releasing her new song, “Nemuri no Mori” on August 14th, and the artwork for this piece is created by the art director Go Matsuda and the photographer Arata Kato, who also worked on the past 2 pieces which received awards.
