Yoshiki will join past prestigious and iconic performers such as Brian Wilson, Ringo Starr with Ben Harper, Dave Matthews, John Legend and the Roots, by participating in this highly regarded series at The Grammy Museum. “I am so honored to announce my first solo performance in the US at such a prestigious venue like The GRAMMY Museum.” says Yoshiki.

Although known as the founder of Japan’s biggest rock band X Japan and credited as the catalyst for the flamboyant visual kei rock sub-genre, Yoshiki is a world-renowned classically trained multi-instrumentalist/composer/musician.
Yoshiki has made an impressive mark within the classical genre. Yoshiki’s talent has seen him compose the 2012 Golden Globe Awards theme song, which is available in 111 countries. He’s also composed and performed an orchestral piece/piano concerto to commemorate the Japanese Emperor’s 10th anniversary of his reign, along with the theme for the World Expo in Japan. Yoshiki’s double album “Yoshiki Presents Eternal Melody” remains one of Japan’s top-selling classical albums.
Yoshiki Classical sees collaborations between Yoshiki and legendary Beatles producer Sir George Martin, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and the Quartet San Francisco.
With Yoshiki Classical and his widely known classical compositions, Yoshiki is continuing to bring and illuminate the beauty in classical music to rock audiences around the world.
