新专辑，新的开始。
距SCANDAL上次发行单曲已经有一段时间了。最近的单曲发行《Take Me Out》已经可以追溯到2年半之前了。在该单曲发行之后的时间里，SCANDAL专注于出道10周年的纪念活动，以及录制并进行她们最近一张专辑《Honey》的巡回演出。因此，此次发行的双主打单曲《マスターピース/まばたき(Masterpiece/眨眼)》对歌迷来说是久违的回归。同时，这张单曲也是乐队出道13年来的重要里程碑。除去最初出道的日子，乐队的大部分时间都是作为日本索尼音乐娱乐旗下的日本史诗唱片公司的签约艺人。而这次，是她们第一次通过于JVC唱片公司旗下专属于乐队的唱片工作室“Her”所发行新歌。

垃圾搖滾也是一種美的化身
四人組偶像團體Yanakoto Sotto Mute遇到了一個問題——該怎麼樣超越他們的神級首張專輯『BUBBLE』?首專裡收錄了他們的兩張EP以及一些新曲目，另類搖滾與偶像的完美融合，使這張專輯成為2017年日系搖滾的最佳專輯之一。不過，在這張專輯中有近三分之一的歌曲是翻唱歌曲，讓人有些擔心他們是否還有其他原創曲目以應對競爭激烈的音樂圈呢?
時間回到2016，當時Yanakoto Sotto Mute的製作人非常謹慎地發行了團隊的第一張EP，名為「8cm」。比起直接發行原創曲目，他們邀請到了東京垃圾搖滾樂團BACKDATE NOVEMBER和Say Hello to Sunshine參與製作，將他們的曲目改編成了適合偶像團體演唱的版本。在給予了新名字、進行了新錄音和包裝之後，原本的垃圾搖滾風格男聲也變成了和諧的偶像女聲。
