Studied abroad at Royal Conservatory of Brussel as a sanctioned member by the Agency for Cultural Affairs when Igor Oistrakh invited her after graduating from Toho Gakuen University. Was given scholarships by Yasuda Seimei Quality of Life Bunka Zaidan and Rome Music Foundation. She graduated at top of her class, and won an award with the completion of her master’s degree. She has won awards at many competitions including Maria Canals International Musical Execution Competition and The Music Competition of Japan. During that time, she was under the tutelage of Toshiya Eto, I. Oistrakh, Barylli Walter, Tsugio Tokunaga, Koichiro Harada, Akira Miyoshi, and etc. She has performed as soloist at various locations around the globe. She has performed with Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, Flemish Radio Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Chamber Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, and etc. “A young player with both an extremely high level of concentration and powerful technique” is how many have described her. She has been praised for her beautiful execution of style and lyrical sharp sound. Her performances with Japan Philharmonic Orchestra under Kenichiro Kobayashi at Suntory Hall, and her performance at Kioi Hall, earned her the praise of “a talented player with intelligence, soul, and technique”. She has performed at Miyazaki International Music Festival, Saito Kinen Orchestra, Verbier Festival in Switzerland and has appeared on radio and TV numerous times. In 2002 and 2003, she was chosen as a member of “Kokyo Hall Ongaku Kasseika Jigyou Toroku Artist” and performed in front of many local people and children. Her warm personality and stage presence has attracted many fans of all ages. In recent years, she has been performing as a duo in “Duo Prima”.
From the spring of 2004, a commercial featuring her playing the violin went on air. She is undoubtedly one of the leading musicians of the newest generation, and is the most popular violinist whose future everyone looks forward to seeing.
