“VAMPS WORLD TOUR 2013” Ends with a Bang with Two Successful Performances in America
VAMPS held performances on December 4 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles and December 8 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. With these two successful performances in America, “VAMPS WORLD TOUR 2013” has come to a close.
VAMPS performed at large venues like the House of Blues in Los Angeles, which can hold about 1,000 people, and the Roseland Ballroom in New York, which has a capacity of 2,000 people. Well-known artists have performed at both venues, making them deeply familiar destinations for music fans. As such, performing at these venues is truly symbolic for VAMPS, whose overseas activities are picking up speed.
VAMPS made American audiences go wild at both locations with their crazy but beautiful performances. Their sometimes loud and heavy, sometimes melodious sound and their nearly-overflowing energy impressed not only fans but journalists and the media as well. The media unanimously expressed ideas like, “This kind of music is usually macho, but VAMPS is beautiful yet strong. These are the kind of wonderful performances that can only be put on by VAMPS!”
Adding color to VAMPS’ performances were their support acts. Sid from Slipknot/DJ Starscream DJed at both performances (and played a Sid-like remix version of “SEX BLOOD ROCK N’ ROLL”!). In addition to Sid, Living Dead Lights performed at the House of Blues and Killcode performed at the Roseland Ballroom. These young American bands fully warmed-up the audiences with their full-throttle rock. It has been announced that the Roseland Ballroom will be closing in March of 2014 following a long history of hosting various bands, to a chorus of regret from various artists and people related to plays that have been held there. The closing festivities will feature Lady Gaga, but VAMPS has also left their mark on the venue with two fabulous performances.
VAMPS will close out the year 2013 with appearances at the event “Music For All” at Yoyogi National Stadium First Gymnasium on December 22 and Asahi TV’s “MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE 2013” on December 27.
