Kanako Minami
A Japanese-Brazilian born in Brazil, raised in Japan since six grade of elementary school.
Stage name is derived from the idea, “since I am born in Brazil, Minami (meaning “south”), and that my dreams will come true”.
Slogan is “Nature women from the South”.
In 2003, produced by Tetsuya Gen, choreographed by Nezumi Imamura the organizer of THE CONVOY, and with costume designed by GOAKIUE, debuted with single “Izakaya Sanba (居酒屋サンバ)” with a powerful backup.
Substituting Yoko Matsui who was knocked from “Hashire! Kayoukyoku” of Nippon Cultural Broadcasting, from February 8th 2011 to March 1st, served as a special pinch hitter hostess of the show.
From 2010, an active member of the Columbia Japan 100th anniversary Enka Idol group “Columbia Girls Collection”.
