Shela made debuted with a single titled “White” in December 1999 as one of the major upcoming artists. She performed with Ayumi Hamasaki and ELT on the stage of “J-POP NIGHT” at Velfarre Roppongi.
She released her single “RED” in December 2000, gaining a lot of request at Usen broadcast. She won the new artist award at the 33rd Annual Japan Usen Broadcast Award.
In February 2001, she released her fourth single “Orange”, which ranked 9th and marked her first Top 10 ranking. Her first album “COLORLESS” ranked first in Oricon Album Weekly Chart. She was actively performing at venues and college festivals but paused her career in 2005. She released “Crystal” in 2009.
