BABYMETAL Selected for Lady Gaga’s Opening Act! LA Solo Concert Added to the Tour Dates.
“BABYMETAL” ranked 1st on iTunes Store Metal Chart in US, Canada and Germany, and became the youngest Japanese artist charted in Billboard, creating a loud buzz worldwide
BABYMETAL has been drawing international media’s attention as “the new generation’s entertainment”. As their presence caught Lady Gaga’s attention, Mother Monster herself hand-picked them for an opening act. They will join her “LADY GAGA’s artRAVE: the ARTPOP call” as one of the opening acts for five venues even before their official debut in US, which is a rare opportunity for an upcoming artists.
Also their own world tour “BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2014” added a show in US. The tour will start on July 1st in France at LEGEND “Y” – YUIMETAL’s 15th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, then to Germany on July 3rd for LEGEND “M” – MOAMETAL’s 15th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, and to Sonisphere Festival UK in UK, which got sold out even though the venue was upgraded to house 2,000 audience. Also, a solo concert in Los Angeles on July 27th got added to the tour dates.
