MUCC: New single, “World’s End” to be released on October 30

MUCC, who just released the single “HALO” on September 25, will release their second single of 2013, titled “World’s End,” on October 30.

“World’s End” will make its broadcast debut as the opening theme song to the original TV anime, “MEGANEBU!,” on October 6. The anime teaser commercial for “MEGANEBU!” was released on June 27 and earned the second most popular keyword search on Yahoo!. “MEGANE KAKESASE KAI,” an unprecedented event involving the voice cast, sold out in just four minutes. “MEGANEBU!” is creating a huge buzz even before the first broadcast. Miya, the guitarist for “World’s End,” says, “I hope it becomes a song that spreads in many directions.”

“World’s End” is a fast-paced track that makes you want to sing along. Along with the limited edition release, MUCC will include demo songs as bonus tracks. This is a first for MUCC. This rare release will include demo versions of all 13 tracks off of their 2012 release, “Shangri-la.”

“World’s End” will be released in three different editions; limited, regular, and anime. The limited edition will come with a DVD that includes the “World’s End” music video and a making-of video. The limited and regular editions will come coupled with different songs. The anime edition will come with a “MEGANEBU!” illustrated album jacket.
