yanaginagi is a Japanese female singer/songwriter from Kansai area. She began her activities as a musician in 2006 and performed at various live houses as well as introducing her music online. Her cover music clips uploaded on video clip websites attracted much attention and so did her participation in supercell’s project as nagi for a song titled ‘Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari.’ With her delicate and clear voice and impressive music, she began to gain much support from a wide range of fans. She made her major debut in 2/2012 with “Vidro Moyou,” the ending theme song of a TV anime “Ano Natsu de Matteru,” which ranked #11 on the Oricon weekly single chart on the week of release. She released her 2nd single “Ambivalentidea,” including the ending theme song of a TV anime “Jormungand,” in 6/2012 and her 3rd single “Laterality,” including the ending theme song of a TV anime “Jormungand PERFECT ORDER,” in 11/2012. In 1/2013, she released her 4th single “Zoetrope,” including the opening theme song of a TV anime “AMNESIA.”
