As part of the program for a special event where those in music business can come together to interact with one another, “9th Tokyo International Music Market(TIMM)” to be held at Hotel Grand Pacific and Zepp DiverCity TOKYO on 10/24-25, Music Publishers Association of Japan(MPAJ) is hosting a seminar titled “Sync Summit 2012: Under-exploited opportunities overseas for Japanese rights holders.”
The moderator of this seminar is Mr. Charles Mikami(Senior Vice President, NY Office, IMA Group, Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc./Sony Music Publishing (Japan) Inc.) and the panel is consisted of Mr. Ataka Narumi(Universal Music Publishing, US), Ms. Tricia Holloway (Path Music, UK) and Mr. Brandon Young (Director of Music Affairs, Activision) to discuss the basic process of Sync in Europe and Americas as well as the outlook of the music market and hands-on business strategy for expansion of Japanese music in the overseas market.
