In 1992, debuted as an “enka idol” from Toshiba EMI (now EMI Music Japan”.
Won 3 rookie of the year awards including the “Housou Ongaku Shinjin Shou” of “The 23rd Nippon Kayou Taishou”.
Starting April 1996, played the host mc for the radio show “Hashire! Kayoukyoku” broadcasted on Nippon Cultural Broadcasting for 4 years.
In 2001, held the “G Pan Musume no Enka Musical”.
In 2002, transferred to Columbia Music Entertainment. Has been actively performing live since then. In 2006, held her 15th anniversary birthday recital.
