Ayumi Hamasaki officially announced her collaboration with popular Taiwanese group, SpeXial.

SpeXial is an “extra Special”, 10-member boy group from Comic Productions, who have put out F4 and Fahrenheit. The group members have starred in popular Taiwanese dramas as well as the Japan/Taiwan co-production, “GTO TAIWAN”. They are rapidly gaining popularity.

The group was chosen for this collaboration because of their current spotlight and from discussions with Hamasaki’s staff. Rumors of this collaboration were going around in Taiwan, and it was even written about in one of Taiwan’s top 4 publications. Ayu herself tweeted about the articles and admitted that it was true.

The title of the song is “Sayonara feat. SpeXial”. DAISHI DANCE, who has produced BIGBANG’s “Haru Haru”, produced the track. “Sayonara feat. SpeXial” will be featured on Ayumi Hamasaki’s new mini-album that goes on sale on August 5. The music video will be released at the same time.
