Odd is a three-piece band consisting of Ryo (vocals, bass), Tetsu (drum), and Masahiro (guitar). The band was formed in Chiba in October 2007, and it had its first live show in February 2008. The band then continued to perform live mainly in Chiba and Tokyo, and it produced a demo recording. In February 2011 Odd released its self-produced album Colorful Seed and did a tour that covered 23 locations across Japan. After releasing its first mainstream full album Qualia in December 2011, the band went on an extended tour that took them to 45 places nationwide, and its profound musical sense attracted a great number of fans. It will release the mini-album Biotop in November 2012.
