Shoko-Nakagawa Born in 1985 in Tôkyô, Shoko NAKAGAWA started her career in 2002 by becoming “Miss Shûkan Shônen Magazine”.
In 2012, 10 years after she made her debut, she went on her first tour across Asia. In the summer of 2013, on top of a concert in Hong Kong, she took part in many varied festivals.
Her latest single Sakasama Sekai/Once Upon a Time –KIBÔ NO UTA– reached the 5th rank of daily charts as soon as it was released and was used as the opening theme of the 3DS game Puzzle Dragon Z.
9lives, her first album in 3 years and a half, is about to be released on April 2, 2014. It will be her 4th album, not to mention several mini-albums and anime cover albums. Several of her singles have been used as film or anime themes, such as Kokoro no Antenna in 2009 for Pokemon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life, RAY OF LIGHT in 2010 for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, or Tsuyogari in 2011 for Beelzebub.
Shoko NAKAGAWA, on top of being a singer, is also a TV hostess and an actress (in movies and TV shows). She has her own clothing brand, mmts, which she represents and for which she collaborated with the brand BEAMS.
During her free time, she likes computer-drawing, reading, playing video games, watching movies and anime, or cosplaying. She has quite a talent for nunchaku too.
