RAM RIDER’s DJ set captivates 2000 fans at “Anime Expo 2013”
RAM RIDER played a guest DJ set at “Anime Expo 2013” held in Los Angeles on July 5th.
RAM RIDER played to a crowd of close to 2000 people. His shiny outfit drew the crowd’s attention as he opened his DJ set with his own track, “Galaxy”. Soon after, go-go dancers joined him on stage as the crowd went wild.
RAM RIDER selected his tracks for this set after being inspired by the conversations he had with the fans and staff he met in Los Angeles. Before his set, he was creating mash-ups of dance tracks and video game songs in his hotel room. As he dropped back-to-back mash-ups, the crowd got increasingly hyped.
RAM RIDER dropped the “sakura RAM RIDER REMIX” of “NIGRILILS,” towards the middle of his set. “NIGRILILS” is the theme song to “Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven,” an anime that is also very popular in America. After playing songs such as TEMPURA KIDZ’s “CIDER CIDER,” which RAM RIDER produced, it was clear to see that Los Angeles loves Japanese music.
RAM RIDER, at the end of his set, played the Yasutaka Nakata capsule remix of “SUN LIGHT STARS” and a new song, inspired by the Anime Expo, titled “ELECTRIC.” His 90-minute set electrified the crowd from beginning to end.
RAM RIDER was bombarded by fans that wanted his autograph and to shake his hand after his set. He will have continuous releases through the rest of 2013, and we should expect big changes from him in the last part of the year.
