Born in 1986 in Niigata. Won 1st place at the “55th Zen Nippon Gakusei Ongaku Concours Tokyo Taikai Chugaku no Bu”, and the“1st Nippon Tchaikovsky Concours Seishonen no Bu”. Won 1st place in the “72nd Music Competition of Japan”, along with Leucadia Award, Sagimi Award, and Kuroyanagi Award. Nanae Mimura

After graduating from Kunitachi College of Music, Nanae moved to the United States where she earned a master's degree at The Boston Conservatory. She studied under Nancy Zeltsman.
While studying there, she also served as a faculty at the highly regarded Berklee College of Music. She had been an official faculty at Berklee until 2004.
