Koharu was a seventh generation Morning Musume.member who went solo after her time in the all-female vocal band. As a solo pop idol under Hello Project,Koharu took to not only singing on stage but also acting in musicals. She eventually graduated from the music scene, but is still a popular Japanese entertainment icon today.
