NIKIIE

Born in 1987. A female singer-songwriter from Ibaraki Prefecture. Began playing the piano at the age of 4 and began composing at 16. After playing for a band in high school, began her solo career with just pianos and vocals at the age of 17. Began performing live after coming to Tokyo after graduating from high school. Her performances caught the attention of her current label, and in December 2010, released her major debut sigle “Shunkashuutou” from Nippon Columbia. Her 3rd single, “Ajisai” (both the CD press version and download version) was released for free, due to the Tohoku earthquake. In July 2011, held a national tour in promotion for her 1st full-length album “*(NOTES)”. In 2012, released 2 EPs: “hachimitsu e.p.” and “CHROMATOGRAPHY”, which featured the ending theme song for “LUPIN the Third – Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna-“ and the theme song for “Kasouken no Onna”. In January 2013, released the 2nd full-length album “Equal”.
