Twin vocalists, guitarist, bassist, drummer – 5-man mixture rock band.
Brothers KOHSHI (older, vocals) and TAKE (younger, guitar) started their musical activities in 1993, and FLOW was formed in 1998. In 1999, KEIGO (vocals), GOT’S (bass) and IWASAKI (drums) joined the lineup and the band took shape.
Their major debut was in 2003 with the single “Blaster”, after that came the opening theme song “GO!!!”, “Re:member” for the anime “Naruto”, following that they also did the opening theme song “Sign” for the anime “Naruto Shippuden”, releasing many hit songs.
Their singles are especially compatible with anime; having worked on many anime theme songs, and gaining high reputation over the years.
On top of that, their energetic live performances are a highlight.
They succeeded in having a solo concert in Nippon Budokan in 2008, and last year they not only toured around Japan but also received offers from many countries and festivals around the world. Since 2006, they have performed in more than 15 countries over the last 10 years.
2015 was the year they released their second anime best hits album “FLOW ANIME BEST Kiwami”, and went on their first world tour across 8 countries including Japan, Taiwan, America, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Chile and Argentina.
On 24th August 2016, they will be releasing a double A-side single, their 31st release, titled “Kaze no uta/BURN”.
Their tour “FLOW LIMITED CIRCUIT 2016” starts in September.
