Soon after their debut in 7/2011, STOROBOY was awarded for at J-WAVE “HELLO WORLD” 3 times and won the chance to air their music. A super popular producer Jeff Miyahara was quick on recognizing their talents and produced their song, which later was featured in a special program project. They then received continuous praises on their music and performances and participated in many events in Tokyo area with various artists such as sawagi , QUATTRO, The Flickes, MONICA URANGLASS, white white sisters, FoZZtone, Mop of Head and Czecho No Republic. As STOROBOY performed at SUMMER SONIC 2012 as the opening act for SONIC STAGE, they are one of the hottest rock bands in the underground scene. The root of their sounds lies in UK Indie, ELECTRO, Chillwave and 80’s rock that make people dance while ‘feeling fashionable rock.’
