FACT’s Lyric Video For “ape” Sees Advanced Release On British Rock Magazine “Kerrang!”

FACT’s new album “WITNESS”, which was released on May 5 in Japan and in Europe, marked 6th place on the charts in Japan. The lyric video for the theme song for Fuji Television’s “Keshouden”, “ape”, off of the new album was released in advanced on the British rock magazine, “Kerrang!’s” website. “Kerrang!” is currently the highest selling rock magazine in the world.

The visual work released this time consists of a CG animation that colorfully illustrates the evolution of life up until the state of “ape”. The video was created by Yuki Morita, won 3rd place at the “CG Student Awards 2013” and shocked the world with his real pokemon, and the virtuosic director, Yuta Saito of bait. The collaboration between the two figures came about through the fact that both have been diehard FACT fans.

FACT will begin their national tour beginning June. Although it had already been announced that Memphis May Fire (from US) and Lower Than Atlantis (from UK) would be appearing at FACT’s Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka concerts held between June 2 and June 4, popular loud rock bands including Hey-Smith, NOISEMAKER, HER NAME IN BLOOD have also been confirmed to join the roster. Tickets are now on sale.
