SMAP / Very First Overseas Concert Scheduled in September

SMAP’s concert in China will be held on 9/16 at Beijing Workers Stadium. This very first overseas concert of SMAP is expected to attract an audience of 40,000. The theme for this concert is “Hang in there, Japan / Thank you, China / Asia is one.”
During East Asia Summit, SMAP was the very first Japanese artist group to meet Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on 5/21/2011. Wen Jiabao welcomed SMAP full-heartedly and expressed his hope for their songs and friendship to reach out to many Chinese people. As a gesture of gratitude, SMAP performed the Chinese version of ‘Sekai ni hitotsu dake no hana’ on the spot.
