ZEN-LA-ROCK Launched a Crowd Funding Project for The First Collaboration EP “the Funkluv” with a Korean Rapper KIRIN.

ZEN-LA-ROCK’s new song “Tropocal Triangle” has been selected as Red Bull Energy Drink THE SUMMER EDITION campaign song. Now he has announced that he will collaborate with KIRIN, a Korean rapper taking over the street hip hop scene, on the upcoming EP “the Funkluv”.

For this collaboration, he launched a crowd funding project through a website called CAMPFIRE, to fund for the music video, KIRIN’s travel expense to Japan, starting September 15th.

The two met a few years ago, hitting it off instantly, and after performing together at a party in SEOUL in April, they came up with this collaboration idea, followed by the swift move for the project launch.

The songs to be included are not published yet, but reportedly it will be influenced by their favorite 80’s and 90’s funk music including new jack swing updated into their own 2015 style. The lyric will be a mixture of English, Japanese, and Korean. ZEN-LA-ROCK is now talking with KIRIN about his first challenge of Korean lyric.
