Perfume appear in American band OK Go’s music video

OK Go, the Chicago rock band who is known to the world for their intricately choreographed music videos, released a new album titled “Hungry Ghost” this month. The music video for “I Won’t Let You Down” is now on the band’s official YouTube channel. Perfume makes a cameo in the music video.

Morihiro Harano, who created the NTT Docomo web commercial for “MORI NO MOKKIN”, was the creative director for the video. Kazuaki Seki, who has directed several of Perfume’s music videos, and OK Go’s Damian Kulash (vocals, guitar) co-directed the video. Several Japanese crewmembers were also involved in the production of the video.

The video is much like other OK Go videos in that it is based on choreographed one-takes. There are overhead and aerial shots of the band on Honda UNI-CUBS and female dancers with umbrellas. Perfume appear in the very beginning of video as the camera crew.
