miwa’s first overseas concert – 100 middle school and high school students affected by the earthquake join in a sing-along in front of the Eiffel tower

Singer/songwriter miwa performed at “TOHOKU FUKKOSAI in Paris”, which took place at Parc du Champ-de-Mars at the foot of the Eiffel Tower on August 30. She performed the “OECD TOHOKU School” reconstruction event theme song, “KIBO NO KAN (WA)”, along with four other songs.

100 students gathered around the stage and joined in the chorus. The French people applauded the song that represents the strength and hope of the Tohoku earthquake victims who overcame the disaster and found the strength to move on.

“ChAngE”, the opening theme song to “BREACH” which was also broadcast in France, brought on a simultaneous “Oh!” from the French people in the audience.
