yurisa was born to a Spanish American father and a Japanese mother, and started her career as a model at the age of seven. She was inspired by her father who is a dancer, and started taking dance lessons, and now she works in different fields such as modeling, dancing and singing.
Her first EP released in November 2013 “Love & Different” ranked first in iTunes Dance chart. Her kyoto accent doesn’t seem to come from her latin look but the gap between them makes her so unique.
