BABYMETAL: First Japanese artist to receive award from British music magazine “KERRANG!”
BABYMETAL won THE SPIRIT OF INDEPENDENCE AWARD at
This was the first time that a Japanese artist won anything at the “KERRANG! AWARDS”. Huge applause rang out after YOUNG GUNS introduced the group and their image came on the screen. Vocalist SU-METAL expressed her joy and commented that they will be returning to England in August. The crowd cheered.
