Ayumi Hamasaki’s official YouTube channel tops 100 million plays

Ayumi Hamasaki’s official YouTube channel, “ayu”, has topped 100 million total plays.

The “ayu” official YouTube channel has released various hit songs and concert videos since it was launched in 2009. Currently, there are 200 videos on the site, including a preview of ayu’s latest album, “A ONE”, and a cover of Hikaru Utada’s “Movin’ on without you” that has topped 2 million plays already. There is also the unreleased theme song to NHK drama “BIJO TO DANSHI”, titled “Step by Step”.

On April 16, ayu tweeted, “Thank you for 100 million views on YouTube!” 970,000 follows tweeted back comments like “Amazing!” and “Congratulations!”

The “ayu” channel will continue to release videos as Hamasaki’s career continues to flourish.
