w-inds. shine overseas as the “Most influential artist in Asia”

w-inds continue to musically evolve even 15 years after their debut. On April 16, they received the “Asian Most Influential Japanese Singer” award at the [19th China Music Award] ceremony held at Cotai Arena at the Venetian Macao. They were the first male Japanese artists to take the crown.

[China Music Award] is the most prestigious music award ceremony in China where Asia’s most celebrated guests attend. w-inds performed “FANTASY” and “Make you mine” and energized the audience. They once again proved their overseas popularity on stage.

w-inds, who are immensely popular in Asia, won the “Best Sales, Release in Japan / Korea” award at Hong Kong’s [IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Awards 2014] in March. Their July 2014 album, “Timeless”, won the same award. It was their 11th consecutive award-winning album.
