The pioneer of trance music “JUNO REACTOR” is coming back to JAPAN in MAY 2015!
JUNO REACTOR, who emerged the vogue of trance music at LONDON in 90’s and stays the top of the music scene ever since, announced their performances in Japan since 2013.
They are going to bring a remix album, “The Golden Sun Remix,” which is a remix of the album of “The Golden Sun of The Great East.” A song “Final Frontier,” which was chosen to be used for a promotion of TOYOTA 86, is included in the album. On this tour, they are going to play at live houses to find different approaches other than playing at clubs, which they have been playing so far.
Tour members are: project leader Ben Watkins, a guitarist SUGIZO from LUNA SEA/ X JAPAN (8 years has passed since his joining), a drummer Budgie of former Siouxsie & TheBanshees, a bewitched dancer Mali,and Slovenian vocalist Taja Devi. Additionally, Taiko drummer and a cultural exchange ambassador Leonard Eto, who joined the previous tour, will join this tour again.
JUNO REACTOR have created songs for internationally famous movies such as “Matrix” series and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico”. They have also created sound tracks for “Ring/Rasen” and “BRAVE STORY”. Since 2006, SUGIZO from LUNA SEA/ X JAPAN joined and got recognitions by Japanese fans widely. In 2013, an popular actress/singer Kou Shibasaki,herself is a big fan of JUNO REACTOR since she was 18, has collaborated with them as well.
