USAGI, First Overseas Performance in Taiwan, Local Fans Rejoice Over Chinese Singing Performance

A new born group USAGI which just made their debut on January, attended the cultural exchange event in Taiwan “Tokyo Crazy Kawaii” as their first overseas Live.

Their performed for 3 days in a row, and other artists such as moumoon, [Alexandros], Dempagumi inc., and Haruna Ai also attended the event. Takahiro Ueda studied some Chinese beforehand, and first spoke out to the audience “Da jia hao! Wo shi USAGI! (Hello everyone! I’m USAGI!)”, and then after performing their debut song “Imagine” with Katsuhiko Sujiyama acoustic guitar and singing he called out “Kaixinma? (Are you enjoying?)”, then made the audience even more excited with the following song “Hello”.

In the end, they performed a full Chinese version of “Kokokara” released the other day as their 3rd single. Before singing the song, an actress in Taiwan, Mariko Okubo read the lyrics out loud, conveying the message of the song clearly to the audience, causing great applause from the listeners.
