FAKY rising on American Billboard Dance Club Play Chart

FAKY’s January 2014 release, “Better Without You”, was No.3 on the March 22 Billboard Breakout for Hot Dance Club Play Chart, a ranking chart that showcases new songs. No.2 was Pharell’s “HAPPY”. “Better Without You” also ranked in at No.49 on the Dance Club Play chart.

“Better Without You” was the first music video FAKY premiered on YouTube. Dave Aude, who has remixed Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and One Direction, remixed the song and created a lot of talk among FAKY fans. Dave Aude said, “FAKY’s sound should catch on overseas too!” American club DJs started to play the song out, and it climbed the charts as a result.

It is an unusual that an American chart newcomer such as FAKY can enter the charts even before their CD debut.
