Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s second world tour, , kicked off at “Showbox at the Market” in Seattle on Thursday, February 13.

It was a clear day in Seattle, which is very rare, and this was Kyary’s first Seattle concert. Fans were lined up since the morning to get in. Some of them were locals dressed in Harajuku fashion, and some of them were Japanese fans that came all the way from Japan to see the show. It was a sold out show of around 1500 fans that were there to see Kyary Pamyu Pamyu perform for the first time in Seattle.

The concert started a little later than scheduled to the sound effects of “NANDA Collection”. This was the same opening as in Japan. Four dancers in pink costumes appeared with Kyary who was wearing a pink outfit garnered with stuffed animals. The audience screamed at her entrance.

“Hello! I’m Kyary Pamyu Pamyu!! KONNICHIWA! KYARY PAMYU PAMYU DESU! I’m going to sing a lot of songs today!”

After she made her introduction in both simple English and Japanese, she played back-to-back singles, “Invader Invader”, “Ninjya Re Bang Bang”, and “Furisodation”. Kyary addressed the crowd again.

“I’m back for my second World Tour! 11 cities, 16 shows!! This is my first time in Seattle!!!”

The crowd applauded her English speech that she practiced until just before the show. She added, “I will sing a ‘brand new song’! The theme is graduation!” She then went into her overseas debut of “YUME NO HAJIMARINRIN”. The crowd sang along to the chorus, “Goodbye teacher my friends!”, in English, even before the premier of the music video.

She continued her set with overseas hits like, “PONPONPON”, “Tsukematsukeru”, and “Fashion Monster”. Kyary ended the first night of her second world tour a success.
