Yun*chi Reveals Music Video of “Waon* with IroKokoro Project” From Debut Single

Yun*chi will be releasing her first single, “Your song*”, on November 13. The music video for the song “Waon* with IroKokoro Project” from that single has just seen an international distribution.

“Waon* with IroKokoro Project” is the ending theme song for the July ~ September broadcasts of the international music program run by NHK WORLD, “J-MELO”. The song is a collaboration tune with the “IroKokoro Project”, the WEB community consisting of female members from 43 countries around the world who have gathered with the special interest in Japanese culture, fashion and J-POP music.

The song “Waon* with IroKokoro Project” was created through requesting members of “J-MELO” to send in their “favorite Japanese words”. Yun*chi took those words to write the lyrics for the new song. A total of 27 members around the globe also participated in the chorus of the song.

Members of “IroKokoro Project” also appear in on this internationally revealed music video. The video came into shape through persistent communication with the community over the Internet.
