Ryunosuke

Chiba born singer-songwriter Ryunosuke began singing and playing electric guitar in bands while in Junior High School. His band did covers of classic rock/punk arists tunes including The Ramones and The Sex Pistols. In High School he expanded his music horizons after discovering the acoustic guitar. From there he began writing original songs, doing street performances and performing in live houses. At this point he also began mixing blues and Japanese folk music into his style.
In May, 2001, Ryunosuke released his debut solo album ‘KARUTA’ on Victor Entertainment. The album was produced by PANTA, the leader of the Japanese punk rock band The Brain Police. In October, 2005, he started his own label UNBALANCE and released ‘Ryunosuke no Uta’, which he produced by himself.
